After a lot of soul searching (and name searching) we decided to change our name from Glenwood Garden to TISINAL.
We originally got our name from the Glenwood Community Garden, which is a part of the amazing nonprofit called Toledo Grows. My family donated the parcel of land to them to start this community garden. Our friend Nick, who started Toledo Grows, was looking for a new way for his nonprofit to gain a new source of revenue – which was our light-bulb moment! Why not start a business to help amazing causes get a new source of funding to support their important programs?
Tisinal still has the same mission and values. We are still signing up new nonprofits for our customers to support when they shop for a cause. And we are still adding more delicious and eco-friendly products from amazing artisan Makers from all over the U.S. to our online store.
